Mane
vs Vagaro

Vagaro hides the math.
Here's the receipt.

Vagaro starts cheap, then charges again for each extra calendar, for card processing, and for the add-ons most pros end up wanting. Mane is $19 flat, and the features come with it.

The receipt

2-chair shop on Vagaro: $23.99 base + $10 second calendar = $33.99/mo — before add-ons. Email marketing, text marketing, and the branded app all cost extra.

Plus card processing on every transaction.

Mane Shop ($79/mo) covers up to 6 chairs with everything included. Or 1 chair on Pro at $19/mo.

Common questions.

  • Why does Vagaro start so cheap?
The base price covers one calendar. Extra calendars are $10/mo each, and email marketing, text marketing, and the branded app are paid add-ons on top.
  • Are payment fees really higher?
Vagaro doesn't publish its card-processing rates on its pricing page. Mane uses Stripe directly — you pay Stripe's published rate, we add nothing.
  • Does Mane charge for extra chairs?
No. The Shop plan ($79/mo) covers up to 6 chairs. Nothing extra per person.
  • What if I leave Vagaro?
Bring your client list with you. Mane imports it free.
