Mane wasn't designed in a meeting. It was designed in the shop.

How we got here.
I've cut hair for over a decade. Rented booths, hired chairs, my own shop. At every stage, the platform that ran my bookings took a cut of work I did with my own hands. The ones that “let me grow” were the ones that grew off me.
I'm still cutting hair. Flair Studio, Royal Palm Beach, FL — book me at joinmane.com/christiangflair. Everything below is written from that chair.
By last year I was paying hundreds a month to a marketplace that took a cut of every Boost client, plus a suite that skimmed payments and rented me my own client list. Cross the two and I was underwriting my own competition — the “growth features” were priced against my ceiling, not their cost.
My income was scaling their income. I couldn't tell you where any of my client data actually lived.
So I built the system I wanted. Bookings, messaging, payments, and the phone in one place. Flat monthly — $19 Pro, $79 for a shop up to six chairs. Zero commission on any booking. Zero per-transaction skim on top of Stripe.
If you want the AI receptionist that answers when you're mid-cut, it's a $39/mo add-on. If you don't, it's invisible.
Your list exports as CSV. Anytime. Cancel and it comes with you.
I use Mane every day I work the chair. It wasn't built for barbers by someone imagining a barber. It was built by one.
