Common questions.
Do you charge commission on any bookings?
Never. Flat $19/mo on Pro, and Mane takes nothing from any booking. When a card is charged through Mane, Stripe's card fee (2.9% + 30¢) is added to the client's total, so a $50 cut reaches you as $50.Can I bring my Booksy client list over?
Yes. Get a copy from Booksy first (their help center said to ask their support team for one when we checked in September 2026). Once you have it, save it as a spreadsheet file (CSV) and upload it on the Import screen once you are signed in, or email it to hello@joinmane.com and we import it for you, free.Does Mane replace my register?
For booking and the card on file, yes. Mane does not run a card reader. If you already have a Square terminal, keep it for in-person payments and use Mane for booking.What happens to my bookings if I cancel?
Your account stays open through the month you paid for. After that you can still see everything but can't make changes. Ask and we hand you a copy of your clients and appointments. No 30-day window, no paying more to get your own names back.Do clients download an app to book?
No. Your link opens in any browser. It works the same on an iPhone, an Android, a laptop, or straight from a text.
